Oyster Bracelet ref. 7835 with 271 endlinks - clasp stamped 72
Correct and original Steel 200 Mk 1 Bezel with Dot next to 160
Comes with purchase receipt, original inner and outer boxes (outer box with 6265 and black dot sticker, denoting black dial), guarantee and Cosmograph booklet
The matte black dial is free from blemishes of any kind, and the original tritium plots and hands match and react evenly falling away quickly under UV
The case is thick and evenly proportioned, the Mark 1 bezel is exceptionally sharp
The bracelet is stamped 1972, with the watch having been sold in 1973 (two years after the watch production date) - which is correct - as impossible as it is to believe, these early Daytona Cosmograph watches were relatively unloved in those early days, and would often languish in dealer windows for months or even years
The watch has had a maintenance service including cleaning and regulation, and new old stock crystal fitted - and is running strong at an amplitude of 267 degrees at + 11 seconds per day
