Extremely rare twin register chronograph from the 1940s, housing the calibre 136 manual wind movement

It is thought that cal. 136 chronograph is likely to be among the very first wristwatch chronographs with two pushers, made by Martel for both Zenith, and Universal Geneve in the 1930's - an advert dating to around 1932-35 suggests it may well have been the first known advertisement for a two pusher chronograph. The title being : "A new chronograph caliber with two pushers" (see image)

This is indeed then, a rare watch - original dial and hands that have aged nicely, fixed lug bars, fitted with a brand new bespoke Torres calf leather strap

The watch has been inspected and regulated by our trusted watchmaker, and is currently in full working order (top pusher starts and stops the chronogrpah, with the bottom pusher resetting to 0/12)

As with all Mann About Time purchases, the watch comes with accompanying hand made leather travel pouch and tote
